Elli-Nicole Bridal began when I made my first wedding dress. The bride was my now sister-in-law. She was getting married and couldn’t find anything she truly loved. Somewhere between mild panic and pure excitement I said yes despite just being out of design school and never having made a wedding gown before. 

From working out of my mothers double garage behind a small industrial sewing machine to having built a brand stocked on three continents and counting has been a truly amazing journey. Each bride, each dress and each team member has been interwoven into the growth and journey of what is now Elli-Nicole Bridal.

At its core, the brand has been lovingly described by my brides as “Vogue.” My design intention is rooted in the soft femininity I admired in my grandmother and great aunt - think ultimate 50s icons, reimagined with the contemporary vision of today’s bride. I’ve always wanted my gowns to feel like modern heirlooms: pieces that are iconic, symbolic, and unforgettable.

My design process is intentionally dual. I love the clarity of sketching, but some designs come to life by conceptualising in three dimensions, draping directly on the mannequin, developing toile after toile until the silhouette feels effortless and the construction feels exact. I am highly visual and deeply hands-on, I love working alongside my team to bring each prototype to life.

At Elli-Nicole Bridal, every gown is crafted by a team of  exceptionally talented women and men. From pattern drafting and grading to draping and sewing, each piece is made with intention, precision, and care. Most importantly, we know our brides by name, not as a dress number or a style because for us, this work has always been personal.
